Do I need to make an appointment to visit you?

Yes please, Bridal and Accessory appointments need to be pre-arranged, thus enabling us to give you our full professional service. To make an appointment you can, fill in our Contact Sheet, email us at 

 or call us on 041 9801740. All Bridal appointments are chargeable and can be cancelled with a refund with up to 48hours notice for a week day and 5 days notice for a Saturday

What is the price range of your collections?

Our collections range from €1300 to €3000 with plenty in between, we also have a selection of sale and off the rail dresses from €500. Budgets are so important, we want to help you shop within yours.

When should I start shopping fo my dress?

We recommend to start your shopping a good 12 months in advance of your wedding day. Our designers have a 4 to 6 month lead time to produce your dress, leaving you amply time for any adjustments and alterations.

BTW don’t be surprised if you find your dress in the first boutique you visit.

Only shop when you are ready to buy, you don’t want to find the one only to leave it for a while and miss out on maybe it being cancelled from a collection or sold off the rail.

Can I wear false tan to my appointment?

No… We ask that you refrain from wearing any tan, tinted body moisturiser, or bronzer.

We ask that you keep your make-up above the neck line when coming for your appointment, we are very proud to say our collections are in immaculate condition.

Your appointment may be cancelled in the event of any tan transferring to the fabrics.

Do you charge for appointments?

All appointments are chargeable at Frilly Frocks, both weekdays and weekends. Your prebooked appointment is €30 and a revisit and accessories appointment €15, and is be redeemable against your purchase, not redeemable against sale or reduced goods. This is valid for 3 months.

Appointments are only confirmed on receipt of payment and can not be held otherwise.

Why do you charge for appointments?

Clients may book appointments well in advance and forget to cancel for one reason or another, we want to encourage you to keep your appointment.

You have the undivided attention and advice of a professional Bridal stylist for the duration of your appointment.

We have invested heavily in our collections offering you amazing choice in over 140 dresses in the boutique.

Health and safety meassures due to Covid-19 means each frock you try on needs to be steamed or hung out for 72 hours, fitting rooms and boutique are sanitised between each appointment, thus adding expense in equipement and time.

What do I bring to my appointment?

Bring…

  • An open mind, your stylist may suggest a shape you hadn’t considered.
  • Someone that makes you feel fabulous.
  • A pair of SLIP ON shoes in a heel height you can manage, they are easy to kick off as you step in and out of the frocks.
  • Your underwear should be light in colour and well fitting, so no elastic digging into you which can create shadows and lines. (We ask that you refrain from wearing g-strings or thongs when trying on our frocks, remember the stylist has to zip you in and out !!)
How many guests may I bring?

Due to Covid-19 we have had to limit your guests to 1 ADULT, when we re-open we may need to re-visit under government guidelines.

We do ask that you and your guest wear a face mask covering your mouth and nose during your entire appointment, your guest must remain seated and refrain from touching anything.

Unfortunately we are unable to swop out your guests during these times.

What sizes to you have in your boutique?
  • Our current collection starts from size 8 to 26, be prepared to maybe go up two sizes in a wedding dress from your regular high street size.
Do you allow photography?

No, all our dresses are available to browse on our web site, we want to protect our fabulous designers and our team.

Do you offer an alteration service.

At the moment we do not offer this service, our Brides come from all corners of Ireland and so we advise on a seamstress closer to home, for our local Brides we can recommend many alteration houses.
